Marketing Designer

We are seeking a talented and versatile Marketing Designer to join our marketing team. This role is integral to our account-based marketing (ABM) strategy, supporting the creation of tailored marketing materials and campaigns for key accounts. The Marketing Designer will work closely with Sales and Product functions to drive targeted marketing efforts. Additionally, the Marketing Designer will provide design consultation and assist in creating custom-branded packaging for our clients.

Reports to the Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Creation: Develop high-quality visual content tailored for key accounts, including case studies, catalogues, brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics, email templates, and other marketing materials.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all design work adheres to our brand guidelines and effectively communicates our value propositions, particularly in the context of our ABM strategy.
  • Photography and Video: Take visually appealing photos and videos for use in advertisements, social media posts, webpages, promotional materials, catalogues, and other marketing assets.
  • Collaborative Campaign Development: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to brainstorm and execute personalized marketing campaigns for target accounts.
  • Client Pitches, Proposals, and Presentations: Develop visually compelling client pitches, proposals, and presentations that effectively communicate our value propositions and meet the specific needs of key accounts.
  • Custom-Branded Packaging Design: Provide design consultation and assist clients in creating custom-branded packaging that aligns with their brand identity and marketing objectives.
  • Website Maintenance: Regularly update and enhance the company website to support ABM initiatives, creating landing pages, improving user experience, and ensuring the site reflects current campaigns and content.
  • SEO/SEM Support: Support search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) efforts to increase visibility of account-specific content.
  • Social Media Content: Create engaging visuals for social media platforms, supporting ABM campaigns and initiatives.
  • Trade Shows & Events: Support the marketing team in promoting and managing the company’s presence at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
  • Additional Tasks: Assist with other marketing-related tasks as needed, including presentations, proposals, blog posts, and newsletters.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or Marketing Designer, preferably within the B2B sector or a similar industry.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other graphic design software.
  • Experience designing for various marketing channels.
  • Experience with web design and maintenance, including knowledge of HTML/CSS, CMS (WordPress), and web hosting platforms.
  • Basic understanding of SEO/SEM principles and best practices.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects and design styles
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally within a close-knit team environment.
  • Experience in account-based marketing or working closely with sales teams to support targeted marketing efforts a plus.
  • Fundamental knowledge in professional photography, videography, and editing.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in our Vancouver, BC Head Office, offering a collaborative, open office environment.
